Kay Snow Writing Competition 2010

Category: competitions

The Kay Snow Writing Competition is the annual contest sponsored by the Willamette Writers organization. Awards are given in fiction, non-fiction, poetry and screenwriting, as well as other categories. This year my comedy drama “Remembering Sarah” placed third in the screenwriting competition. Another local screenwriter, Matt Merenda, won first place. Second place went to a screenwriter based in Denver… don’t remember his name. I received my award during the Saturday night Awards Banquet held during the 2010 WW Conference. Here’s a shot of me receiving the award from Cynthia Whitcomb.
