These are people and websites that are important to me for any of a variety of incredibly random reasons. Perhaps someday I’ll provide you with some information that’s a little more helpful… but not right now.
I told myself I needed to include at least five websites to get this page started. I’ll add more ‘as time goes by’. (hmmm, that would make a great song title)
- I Heart Oregon – My wife, Lisa Holmes, created this hiking blog to showcase our many Northwestern adventures with beautiful photos and a bit of commentary.
- Cynthia Whitcomb – It was Cynthia Whitcomb who introduced me to screenwriting in her intro and masters classes. She’s the reason I’m a screenwriter, and I’ll always be in her debt.
- Sage Cohen – Sage Cohen is an inspiring poet and writer. If you haven’t read her poetry or heard her speak, I highly recommend you do so.
- Willamette Writers – Willamette Writers is an excellent Portland writing group. In addition to monthly speakers and meetings, they hold an annual conference each August where you can pitch your work to editors and producers from NYC and LA.
- Withoutabox – For screenwriters interested in submitting their work to competitions, withoutabox.com makes this task really simple.
