New “True Grit” Better Than Original

I really liked John Wayne in True Grit, so I was skeptical when I heard about the remake by the Coen brothers. Turns out that I needn’t have worried.

Lisa took me to see Morning Glory for my birthday, and I absolutely loved it. We were the only two people in the theatre (don’t know how they stay in business), which was actually nice.

I recently posted a short piece defending Amazon Studios, because it seemed to me that Amazon was getting attacked unfairly for attempting something new with filmmaking. I obviously need to be more clear about the potential problems with uploading to Amazon, because I don’t want anyone to be misinformed about the risks.
